TP#12 Alice

Last night I met with Jun for our final tutoring session. He eagerly greeted me at the door, ready to tell me about his fun filled day. Apparently, he participated in a fundraiser called “The Fun Run” at his elementary school. He told me that he ran 44 laps, and he had a t-shirt to prove it. For every lap the he completed, one of the race workers would put a tally on his shirt, and sure enough, there were 44 little tally marks scattered all over the back of it (we took the time to count each one). He was so proud of his achievement, and I was equally very impressed. He didn’t bring an assigned book home from school to read, so I told him to pick any book from the bookshelf that he had in his living room, and we would read it together. To my surprise, he told me to pick a book that I wanted to read, and he would read it for me. Jun is usually very picky about his books (he likes anything about the ocean and science) , so I was happy that he had faith in my book choosing abilities!! =).  After we finished reading, it was time to go, and we said our goodbyes.

  1. Awe that's so sweet he let you pick the book! Matthew hates the books I choose, usually.
