Jesse Marks TP#10 HALLOWEEN CLASS!

For my Culture Class, I had the honor of teaching with Mark Baxter. We chose the topic of "Halloween: Monsters and Trick or Treating". I had a wonderful chance to co-work and co-teach this final class for a full class period. I will admit the planning was very stressful because of how many assignments I had do during the same week, but it was worth every second of being able to teach the four students that attended! We had a diverse group of students from Asia, Middle East, and South America! They were a lot of fun!

We began teaching our class with a lecture/powerpoint/student involvement activity on the subject of Halloween Monsters!
We covered three types of monsters.

1. Witches

2. Ghosts

3. Vampires.

After a brief description, each student had the opportunity to write about their favorite monster!
They had fun with this! We collected their errors and had them correct them.

We ended with an awesome activity where we taught the students how to Trick or Treat. We had a wonderful time!
