Mel TP # 11

Last Tuesday I met with Maria at the goldstein and  this was our first time actually meeting in the daytime. We spent a bit of time just conversing, talking about our weekend and the t.v. show adventure time and she showed me her background on her new phone. Then, she summarized what she had read since our last session to catch me up on the story and we continued reading Journey to the center of the Universe. She is so inquisitive and really enjoys making up stories, sometimes based off the pictures in the book and other times she just states things like they are fact. When the characters couldn't find water in the cave she kept saying "One of them has to die, someone always has to die, remember the dog in the first book?" She is really very funny! After we had read for a while she completed her reading log and we talked about what could happen later in the book and whether their journey was believable or not.
