TP #12 Madison
For my last tutoring session of the class I tutored both of the twins David and Matthew. Since David didn't have a tutor this week his mom asked me if I would tutor both of them, and I agreed. To start out, Matthew read for his reading log, and David did his math homework. Then David read for his reading log while I graded his math homework. Once the boys finished reading they wrote their reading logs. I read each of their stories to make sure they were getting the main idea as they wrote, since I had them read extensively to themselves. Once again Matthew had guided questions for writing his summary such as: who, what, when, where, why. When the boys were finished writing their logs, I had each of them read it out loud to me, and I helped them edit their mistakes orally. Then Matthew did his math homework while David studied his spelling words. To end the session, I gave both of them a spelling quiz, and made them write each word they got wrong at least seven times. Matthew missed two, and David missed four. Tutoring two students at the same time, especially fairly young students wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be.
