CP #9 Mel

Last week I met with Rafael at CIES and we talked mostly about future plans per usual. We conversed about his and mine favorite grad school and grad school programs, respectively. We also talked about current events, like the aftermath of the gov't shut down. He told me about what he did over his mini break between the two sessions. We talked about the weather and i suggested some fun things to do in Tallahassee, because he is still not enjoying himself fully. I told him he should definitely go out for Halloween, because i'm pretty sure there will be a lot to do.  He also asked me to be his conversation partner for the next session, which I really would like to do but i'm thinking about joining my two conversation partner meetings and making it a group affair. I think it would be more fun that way and better practice for them.
