I met with Renan and Amanda at Strozier and we worked on
transitions and writing. I thought that it would be most helpful to give them a
list of transitions with definitions and example sentences since I had no idea
what transition words Amanda or Renan already knew. I had found a great list but
it seemed like this was a little to unstructured and they really needed more
linguistic support. Luckily, I had brought a few different things and the two
went through the activities on this worksheet http://www.elcamino.edu/academics/basicskills/DLA_EngB_Transitions_ECC.pdf
to practice transitions. Amanda and Renan wrote essays that I will give back to
them the next time that we meet.
