Jesse Marks TP#9 Mico-Journaling

At the end of our last meeting, I encouraged Mico to start journaling in two forms: 1. Free Writing 2. 5 Point Essay Writing. This would give her experience writing regular essays and freedom to write about what she wants. This meeting, Mico brought one of the essays that she had written the day before as a first draft. Together, we went over her work, and I made a list of her errors. From that list, verb tense consistency seemed to be an issue. I created several activities for her to practice her verb tenses. When she understood the concept, I had her re-read the essay and look for verb tense consistency issues. Lastly, we corrected her essay and read her others. She is a great writer and has alot of potentia in her future.
