TP #10 Madison
Yesterday I tutored Mathew at the library. I told him that once he finished all of his homework he could leave, and we would end the lesson early- as a motivation. However, it still took us the majority of the session to finish everything. He started by extensively reading a book to himself that was about soccer for 20 minutes. Then, while he wrote his reading log I read what he just had so I could make sure he was including all of the main ideas in his reading log. Then I had him read his reading log out loud to me so that we could edit it together. Afterwards, Mathew did his math homework, and once he was done I graded it. Sometimes he does his homework too quickly, and makes careless mistakes. Once we was done with his math homework we reviewed his spelling, and vocabulary words together. He misspelled 'shouldn't' so I had him write it out for me seven times on his paper. After I finished quizzing him our session was over.
