I realized that I have a backlog of blogging that goes back nearly two weeks. I'll try to finish them up this weekend. I met Husain in front of Strozier and we began to work on building his English vocabulary. I began to introduce larger words like leverage and particularly. We sounded them out and practiced. Since he is an advanced student I felt the need to introduce more difficult words that he would be able to use in some academic conversations.This is because he will be starting Graduate school soon. It was a fairly uneventful tutoring session, We just worked on some new vocabulary and he had some questions about short story he was supposed to be reading. I apologize for the lack of specificity but we had this session almost two weeks ago and we have met a few times since then.
