TP#11 Alice

My last tutoring session with Neto was very bitter-sweet. :( I am so proud of everything he has accomplished thus far in terms of the progress he has made during our tutoring sessions. For every assignment I made for him, he was always very eager and enthusiastic. He listened carefully, and consequently, his input and output continued to improve. Week after week, he became more expressive as his shyness slowly began to wear off.
For the first half of our session, we reviewed his ongoing vocabulary assignment. Instead of the suggested five words, he had ten. I told him to keep the vocabulary notebook I gave him in our first session and to update it regularly. I also told him that I was very impressed with everything he has done, and I thanked him for being such a good tutee. For the last half of the session, we had an informal conversation about idioms and expressions. I felt like it was very practical and fun, and he seemed to enjoy it. Before I knew it, the hour had passed, and it was time to part ways, hopefully not for good. :)
