Mel CP#7

On Wednesday I just happen to run into the whole CIES student population taking pictures in front of Wescott with their different teachers and classmates. I was scheduled to meet with Igor and after he had taken various photos with his friends we walked down to the student union. On the walk there we talked about the upcoming canoe trip he was going on with the rest of CIES. We walked down to market wednesday and I explained the different organizations and how they functioned within the school. We also got there in time to see the  dance/step routines by the various sorority and fraternities. Igor seemed to really enjoy it, so much so that he didn't even want to walk around to the vendors tables. It was a fun and different activity that I think truly highlighted some of the diversity of the school that he might not have seen before. The only downside was that it was very loud so we had to repeat a lot of things while we were talking.
