CP critical incident- Mark G.

I found out about this critical incident with Sung two tutoring sessions ago. About halfway through our session somehow a discussion came up about Sung getting pulled over. Except I had to tell him what getting pulled over was..He was confused because he said in Korea people aren't really pulled over too often and in they would just take a picture if you had ran a red light..this is what I'm assuming he was doing at least, he never exactly said. But in any case, after not really understanding that he was being pulled over, he basically continued to play the foreigner when the cop came up to his window. And this worked in his favor! Sung told me the cop was kind of angry at first but the saw that he was not from around here and let him go with a warning..The interesting part is that the state of Florida has an agreement with the Korean government that each other's licenses are honored. I thought this was kinda of odd that that even existed but happy because in fact there are quite a few Koreans who come to Florida. This was a critical moment for Sung in the sense that he had an experience with the law, the part of society that is in charge of enforcing the laws in a particular country. He got to see how the law manifests itself in different parts of the world, an experience that you usually don't want to think about when your traveling to another country for sure!
