TP #9 Madison

After I went to Chili's with the girls I walked to Erico's to tutor him. When I got there he offered me some water, and we talked for a bit. He told me about his day, and showed me videos of him at the first Florida State football game. Then, he asked me to look over his composition. His teacher had already marked some of his mistakes, but not all of them. So I pointed out the rest of them, and then explained to him why they were grammatically incorrect. Afterwards, I waited as he edited the mistakes on his laptop. He asked me a few questions while he was editing his paper, and I was more than happy to help. This took basically the entirety of the session because he had written a 5 paragraph essay, which I was impressed and surprised because he is still mostly in the foundation classes. His paper was very well written. After our tutoring session he walked me home because it was dark out, I didn't have my car, and he is a gentleman. Once we got to mine, we hung out with my roommate Brookie for a bit until she drove him home. I invited him to the football game, and to an ABC party that I'm attending tomorrow- which I think will be a great cultural experience. I think it'll be a lot of fun. I really enjoy going out, drinking, and partying with Erico- we share a lot of common interests!
