TP #8 Madison

When I tutored Mathew on Wednesday I waited as he finished his math homework. Although it was math, he had to read and follow directions and highlight certain numbers with colored crayons. Then after he finished this homework he wrote his reading log. We edited his reading log together and I had him read it out loud to me in order to try to catch his own mistakes. After we finished editing his reading log I gave him a fun, creative assignment- based off Ms. Dana's lesson plan. I described a page in the book that he read and had him draw it out and then look through his book in order to find the page that he just drew. Thanks Ms. Dana!!! He really liked this activity and we did it twice. Then, I played a game of tic-tac-toe with him because I could tell he was a bit restless. For the last 15 minutes of our session I had him read the chapter book of his choice to me.
