TP #7 Mark G.

After meeting up with David on Wednesday, I dashed over to All Saints cafe to tutor Sung, a CIES student from South Korea that I started to tutor the other week. That day we worked on some grammar, specifically about verb tenses; simple past, past continuous, present continuous, and the present perfect continuous. Whew! Sung was good at choosing between "had/have" but he seemed to struggle sometimes when there were multiple tenses together. Who can blame him, it can be like that for my second language as well. However, looking back, I could have explained more thoroughly some things, such as the "uncertain time" in the past that requires the use of the present perfect. I am going to review grammar tenses more actively before our next session. Overall he did well with the online exercises and I look forward to reviewing the topic next week.
