CP# 8 Mark G

Well, much like my last conversation partner session, I invited Gilles to my friend's birthday party last night. Gilles showed up looking fresh like usual (he has some cool clothes) and somewhat timid about the number of people there. Since he doesn't drink, I helped him get some soda and told him to talk to a bunch of different people. I talked to him for a little bit but then was separated when I saw someone I knew across the backyard. I was happy to Gilles moving around and talking to new people, I thought it was a good exercise in listening because of all the noise around. At one point though I did see him alone on his phone. I encouraged him to interact with people and he laughed and gave me a big smile. We all had a really good time and I am most certainly tired today. We didn't go to bed till about 4 in the morning!
