CP#3 Mel
On
Tuesday I met with Rafael for tea time. He is such a great
conversationalist! We mostly ended up talking about Tallahassee and
Venezuela. He is still not really enjoying the city and I tried
suggesting some fun activities he could do, like going to the
football games or enjoying the nightlife. But he is having trouble
with his apartment complex, and he wants to buy a car so he can move
around the city more easily. He also made some funny jokes!he said
that because he is hanging out with the Brazilians so much it is like
he is learning Portuguese as well as English “two languages for the
price of one!” While we snaked on the awesome seven layer desert
bars, we talked a little more about Venezuela and he showed me some
videos filmed in Venezuela that he is planning to use in a project.
We also talked more about the differences between our two countries,
especially the crime rates. And of course our time together would not
be complete if we didn't talk about how much we loved Miami, and I
suggested that when his sister visits they just meet down there.
